Published
"Trees," a 'lyric poem' by Joyce Kilmer published in 1914, was set to music by Oscar Rasbach in 1922. It has been recorded by many great singers over the years and this 1960 recording was made by David Whitfield, one of the UK's top ballad vocalists of the time. It was one of the numbers he featured on an LP entitled "Alone."
