This song comes from the 1937 movie 'High, Wide and Handsome' to lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein III and music by Jerome Kern. The track here comes from David Whitfield's 1961 LP "Alone" (which is now out-of-copyright under UK law) as I'm not sure if it's ever been re-released on CD. I'm hoping this is its You Tube debut!
